Thank You!
Sweater Fest Returns!

Hello friends!
Happy 11/11/10, which as we all know is binary code for the “>” symbol. (Seriously, it is, I dare you to look it up.)
On a more exciting note, in exactly one month we will be hosting/throwing/curating/playing the Fourth (!!) Annual Christmas Sweater Festival. Most of you already know what that means, but for the uninitiated, it is a show in which you wear an ugly holiday sweater, listen to a bunch of great live music, black out, wake up cold and confused, but feel OK about the whole thing because all of the money goes to a great cause. It’s kind of like a Carnival Cruise to Mexico, with more booze, less Spam, and just as much marital tension!
This year we have some awesome bands and close friends playing with us, including Polls, The Pity Party, Signals, and Rabbits Rabbits Rabbits.
All of the money from this year’s show will go to Teen Impact, a program at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles for teens and young adults that have or once had cancer or a blood disease. It gives them a chance to make new friends, share life experiences and participate in fun activities — so supporting them is really, really great and very much in the spirit of the season.
Tickets can be purchased at Origami Vinyl in Echo Park, or at Ticketweb (click here).
The nitty-gritty details are thus:
The Christmas (and Holiday) Sweater Festival
December 11, 2010
The Echoplex
1154 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles, CA
*Entrance on Glendale Blvd, not Sunset.

So tell your friends, tell your Mom, tell your “ex” girlfriend that you still talk to every day and is actually totally your girlfriend but for some reason one of you doesn’t want to “label” anything, and we’ll see you guys in flannelful Echo Park on December the 11th of Two Thousand Ten.
Peace, Love, Turd Hell Doves,
The Deadly Syndrome
